Around-the-clock, Expert-to-Mom&Baby Medical Care
Mother-to-be will feel good about our full-service, technically modern birthing suites; around-the-clock-access to obstetrical and neonatal services; anesthesia; knowledgeable doctors and specially trained nurses. During delivery, you benefit from two specially trained nurses - one for you and one for your baby. We also offer surgical suites for women delivering by Cesarean section or who elect to have postpartum procedures.
Newborn Wellness Program
Healthy Beginnings, our special newborn wellness program, is designed to help ease the questions and concerns many new parents have during baby's first days at home. Our certified lactation registered nurses make sure your baby gets off to a healthy start - and that's important when having a baby! Provided at no charge to parents who deliver at North Suburban Medical Center, the program provides education, support and initial newborn TcB screenings.

Baby-on-the-Way Education and Tours
Get ready for your new baby by attending North Suburban's Baby-on-the-way classes! We have more than 15 programs, in addition to the free newborn wellness program described above, to help expectant and new parents prepare and care for their new arrival. If you have a baby on the way, you may tour our birthing, post-partum units and nursery and meet our friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Kids Express
Babies are full of wonder and curiosity. With that in mind, we offer Kids Express, emergency care in a kid-friendly environment. It's staffed with board-certified pediatricians and pediatric nurses and is open 7 days a week - just in case.
What's important to you and your "Baby-on-the-Way" is what's important to us. That's why we've bundled expert medical care and expert medical guidance, to help meet all of your expectations (even if you don't know what they are just yet). At North Suburban Medical Center, our doctors and nurses know what's most important when having a baby: healthy moms and healthy babies.
